WE LOVE FOODS & DRINKS, TOO — HERE’S THE SCOOP FROM OUR CONTACTS:
RESTAURANTS
LOCUST
Best restaurant in Nash by far, not cheap, not a large venue, need resos, TOTALLY worth every penny.
PRINCES
Out of the way, but BEST hot chicken in town, worth the trek.
ROLF & DAUGHTERS
Good pasta (although not amazing in comparison to NYC), good food and good vibes; solid choice for larger parties
LOU
Great farm-to-table style spot. Natural wine list, super cute inside, usually have a vintage fair outside. Solid option for lunch/brunch.
FOLK
Killer Italian-esque spot on the east side with great food. Excellent dive bar next door.
PINEWOOD SOCIAL
Cute spot with different venues inside: bowling alley, pool area, coffee shop, restaurant, cocktail bar.
LYRA
Excellent middle eastern food with a cool vibe, great cocktails and not expensive. Great option for large parties with reservations. They also have outdoor seating and a private dining room.
SMITH & LENTS
Great joint for lunch, mostly pizza and beer. Good tunes, good outdoor seating.
REDHEADED STRANGER
Great margs and amazing Texas-style tacos. What else you need?
PASTARIA
Really good Italian food and a big spot for large parties.
CHEAP CHARLIE’S TACO SHOP
Super-cheap little taco stand with fantastic tacos. Next to a bar called Treehouse, which is also getting high recommendations.
BARBECUE
SHOTGUN WILLIES
Real good, real cheap roadside joint.
EDLEY’S
Popular joint for large groups, but might not rank as high overall.
MONELL’S
Not necessarily a bbq joint, but a classic “meat-and-3” experience. Crazy cheap, a bit rough on the aftermath, but delicious in the moment.
COFFEE
CREMA
“Best coffee and best service”.
BARISTA PARLOR
On the pricey side, but great coffee, great music and some cool shops.
8&R
Great coffee and there's a few scattered around town.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: BARS
ROBERT’S WESTERN WORLD
Apparently, this one is a MUST GO as it’s the only bar on Broadway that’s maintained an authentic, old school honkytonk vibe. Bartenders are chill and they’ve got late-night snackaroos.
DINO’S
This one is also recommended as a MUST GO. “Best dive and old school Nash vibes”. Outdoor patio and excellent late-night trash food.
BOURBON STREET BLUES AND BOOGIE BAR
Located in Printer’s Alley — a cool drag off Broadway. Down-south Louisiana vibes. Mixed drinks here are trash, so beers and shots are recommended... Steven is gonna love this one.
THE PATTERSON HOUSE
“Best cocktail bar”. Super dark and cool vibe, great whiskey list. Needs a reservation and not cheap, but worth it.
ATTABOY
Sister property of the NYC Attaboy, but with different vibes.
LAKESIDE LOUNGE
Another Attaboy sibling, with good cocktails and great late-night snacks. Always packed.
THE FOX BAR
Cool old-school vibes, great drinks. Easy.
NEVER NEVER
Cool industrial vibes and — you guessed it — great drinks.
RED PHONE BOOTH
Speak easy plus cocktails. Done.
MOTHER’S RUIN
Sister property to the same-named bar in NYC with huge indoor and outdoor areas.
CHOPPER
Good food and Tiki drinks on the East side.
GREENHOUSE
Drinks are okay but vibe is cool, you're inside a greenhouse...
URBAN COWBOY PUBLIC HOUSE
Great drinks and cool Nashville vibes in east Nash. Bonus points for having a Roberta’s truck out front (!!!). And, what’s more, there’s a little wine bar inside the main hotel.
